From the humble beginnings at The Annandale Hotel to the industrial streets of Marrickville, Bad Friday goes big for it’s 10th and biggest party yet taking over Fraser Park, Marrickville for one hell of a celebration.

Our favourite indie market, Finders Keepers is back again with their Spring/Summer 2018 Tour, kicking off at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne, over three epic days! Finders Keepers are thrilled to bring you 270 Australian art + design stalls, making a trip to the markets this weekend the perfect time to grab some new summer threads or an early Christmas gift for those ‘hard to buy for’. This season’s lineup includes the likes of Halcyon Nights, Leaf and Thread, Elk, Claire Ishino, Happy Society, Solomon Street, Toyah Perry Jewellery, Olive + the Captain, Remuse Designs, Ernest and Joe, Oktoberdee and Ottway the Label. Be amongst the first to the party and head down to the Royal Exhibition Building from 12 noon on Friday for their early-start hours. There's also Happy Hour from 3pm-5pm and shopping ‘til 9pm, making it a great way to end the week! Craft Victoria presents a specially curated showcase of craftware from their emerging maker pool of fresh talent. Over 30 artisans will be selling handmade jewellery, textiles, ceramics and more within the beautiful light-filled space of a forgotten Fitzroy warehouse. WHAT: Yours & Owls Festival Sideshow (All Ages)

Yours & Owls Festival organisers have just announced an all ages mini festival, which will see a handful of acts from the 18+ event perform for music-lovers of all ages, on the same weekend. The one day festival line-up does not disappoint, with a mixture of well known acts like The Jungle Giants and emerging artists like Maddy Jane set to party down in the gong! Also joining the bill are Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Mallrat, Moaning Lisa, TOTTY, Fritz, Cry Club, Spit Chewy and a yet to be announced triple j Unearthed Winner.

The Finders Keepers markets are on again over three massive days in Exhibition Hall at the Australian Technology Park in Eveleigh. After months of planning and exceeding their data allowances, gal pals Jacqueline Smith and Laura Rose Main are excited to announce the opening of their new gallery, Enough Space. Enough hopes to establish itself as a keen supporter of the emerging creative, showcasing works through exhibitions, residencies, workshops, pop-up shops and night specific installations.
To coincide with the launch, the girls have organised a month long exhibition "Hi, We're New Here" that will feature work by some of their fave Australian creatives, including Kitiya Palaskas, Caitlin Shearer, Cat Rabbit, Ashley Ronning and The Seven Seas, whose work they believe articulates the future vision they have for the space. It’s back! Craft’s Pop-Up will again take over the Melbourne Town Hall for 32 days showcasing the best of Victorian craft and design.
Craft's Pop Up features over 70 established and emerging makers, showcasing handmade ceramics, jewellery, textiles, papercraft, mixed media and furniture. With triple the floorspace of Craft's home at 31 Flinders Lane, The Pop-Up allows Craft to generate new conversations about ways of making, and to celebrate the very best of Australian handmade contemporary craft. There will also be special events and demonstrations in the space including installations by makers Kim Jaeger and John Brooks, furniture designers Dale Hardiman, Coco Flip, Redfox and Wilcox and Tide Design.
