Founded in 2008 by mother-daughter duo, Nina and Kaya Egli, Family Affairs is a charming label for flappers and flirts, ingenues and intellects, donnas and dreamers. Kaya Egli opened her first store selling her own designs and vintage clothing at the age of 20, she then went on to become the in house designer for The Beatles iconic Apple shop in London. Nina Egli, already with her own line of jewelry Toujours Toi, made a natural progression into ready to wear, and a transatlantic design partnership evolved; with Nina based in New York and Kaya in Switzerland. We're so in love with their latest collection Night Train to Cassis - the vintage inspired shapes and prints are to die for. How flippin' cute is the gorgeous telephone print dress?! Check out their stockists page to find out where you can buy yourself some family affairs goodies! Add Comment We just stumbled upon the super cute Japanese brand, dazzlin and can't get over how pretty everything is. Their latest collection is all about looking sweet and casual no matter the occassion. Floral print playsuits, darling summer dresses and ahhhh-mazing high waist pants are just some of our favourite looks from this dazzling Spring/Summer collection. Check out their web store here. The Leonard St Autumn/Winter 2013 collection takes clothing back to the raw fundamentals. The label’s signature clean lines, clever layering pieces, feminine silhouettes and bespoke prints shine heavily through the collection. Playing homage to the female figure, a variety of dress styles, blouses and shirts, chunky knits and jackets for absolutely every occasion; define and flatter the body. Offering a mix of print and texture, colour and detailing for urban and rural living. We especially love the array of different prints and the 90's inspired hues - including a range of gorgeous blues, with a touch of green and mustard. You can shop the current and previous collections at leonardstshop.com The MES DAMES Spring/Summer '13 collection is inspired by Palma Bucarelli, the beautiful and bright heroine who played a significant role in the 20th century Italian art scene. Penn skirts, high and pinned waists and delicate silk garments are ever so present in this collection as well as a beautiful colour palette of pistachio green, rust red and purple. Palmas femininity and elegance is shown through the dressed silhouettes, where tailored V-neck collars combined with wide cut pants give a strict yet elegant look. A multicolored print to combine with the monochrome garments gives a dynamic feeling. Photography by Anna Malmberg Represented by hearts and horses, Sretsis' latest collection 'I Heart U, All Over Again', urges all and sundry to take another good look at love from a deeper and more meaningful perspective as well as developing a long-term relationship with clothes. With a deep sense of serenity combined with a touch of Sretsis’ adventurous spirits, the collection leans towards relaxed composure, aiming to create timeless staple pieces like the forever-classic shirt-dresses and highly crafted, yet subtle, linen club blazers. We especially adore the lady-like silhouettes combined with charming detailing. Our favourite Spanish label, La Casita de Wendy has wowed our pants off once again with their recent Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collection Zoologie. Beautiful illustrations by Ana Sender and Brianda Dibujando combined with embroidery by Lanusa, makes for a vibrant and cosy collection perfect for the upcoming winter here in Australia. We also suggest you check out their new Spring/Summer collection on the website. The only thing we love more than a good old fashioned picnic is getting our mitts on a new pair of shoes. So when we came across the latest picnic-inspired campaign by footwear label, Marais USA, we didn't really know what to do with ourselves. It's a perfect mix of fabulous shoes, tasty food and fresh flowers. While we love the collection of playful wedges, bow-topped slippers, and cute lace-up oxfords, we have to admit we're pretty darn smitten with the magnificent velvety woven sandals! Head over to their website to see the campaign video and maybe even purchase a new pair of kicks! casper&pearl have achieved some pretty amazing things since we featured them in our very first issue, way back in 2011. The swoon-worthy label turned a cheeky one year-old and is now stocked in boutiques right across Australia and even in SoHo, New York. Founder and designer, Stacey Hendrickson also launched the Sisterhood of the Travelling Shorts campaign which saw their Traveller shorts worn on high profile fashion bloggers to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. 2013 is set to be a bigger and better year for the label with the launch of their first manufactured collection, Secret Garden, a nostalgic and whimsical range that will have you wishing it was Spring time already. The collection will be avaliable for purchase tonight at 6pm on casperandpearl.com As you all know, we're big fans of the central coasts Oh Deer Boutique. So it comes as no surprise that we would be rather keen on this super bright shoot by their very own Rose Jane, as well as Kiah Kinchella. If you're unfamiliar with Oh Deer, we suggest you head over to their online store for a geez at their fancy frocks, pretty playsuits and vintage inspired accessories. Photography - Rose Jane & Kiah Kinchella \ Model - Ellie Hextall \ Make up - Jessi Juarez Anyone got a sweet tooth? Because we certainly do after laying our eyes on this delicious editorial by Darla Jean for the cheeky Australian label, Faith & Lola. Nothing says Summer like bright flirty frocks, strawberry milkshakes and cute outings with best friends! We're 100% smitten with this candy poppin' campaign and think you will be too! |
