Founded in 2008 by mother-daughter duo, Nina and Kaya Egli, Family Affairs is a charming label for flappers and flirts, ingenues and intellects, donnas and dreamers. Kaya Egli opened her first store selling her own designs and vintage clothing at the age of 20, she then went on to become the in house designer for The Beatles iconic Apple shop in London. Nina Egli, already with her own line of jewelry Toujours Toi, made a natural progression into ready to wear, and a transatlantic design partnership evolved; with Nina based in New York and Kaya in Switzerland. We're so in love with their latest collection Night Train to Cassis - the vintage inspired shapes and prints are to die for. We just stumbled upon the super cute Japanese brand, dazzlin and can't get over how pretty everything is. Their latest collection is all about looking sweet and casual no matter the occassion. The MES DAMES Spring/Summer '13 collection is inspired by Palma Bucarelli, the beautiful and bright heroine who played a significant role in the 20th century Italian art scene. Penn skirts, high and pinned waists and delicate silk garments are ever so present in this collection as well as a beautiful colour palette of pistachio green, rust red and purple. Palmas femininity and elegance is shown through the dressed silhouettes, where tailored V-neck collars combined with wide cut pants give a strict yet elegant look. Represented by hearts and horses, Sretsis' latest collection 'I Heart U, All Over Again', urges all and sundry to take another good look at love from a deeper and more meaningful perspective as well as developing a long-term relationship with clothes. With a deep sense of serenity combined with a touch of Sretsis’ adventurous spirits, the collection leans towards relaxed composure, aiming to create timeless staple pieces like the forever-classic shirt-dresses and highly crafted, yet subtle, linen club blazers. We especially adore the lady-like silhouettes combined with charming detailing.

Our favourite Spanish label, La Casita de Wendy has wowed our pants off once again with their recent Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collection Zoologie. Beautiful illustrations by Ana Sender and Brianda Dibujando combined with embroidery by Lanusa, makes for a vibrant and cosy collection perfect for the upcoming winter here in Australia. The only thing we love more than a good old fashioned picnic is getting our mitts on a new pair of shoes. So when we came across the latest picnic-inspired campaign by footwear label, Marais USA, we didn't really know what to do with ourselves. It's a perfect mix of fabulous shoes, tasty food and fresh flowers. While we love the collection of playful wedges, bow-topped slippers, and cute lace-up oxfords, we have to admit we're pretty darn smitten with the magnificent velvety woven sandals! casper&pearl have achieved some pretty amazing things since we featured them in our very first issue, way back in 2011. The swoon-worthy label turned a cheeky one year-old and is now stocked in boutiques right across Australia and even in SoHo, New York.
