BackCouture is a Bilbao-based clothing label and brainchild of Spanish fashion designer, Ibone Mañaricúa. Inspired by the fashions of bygone eras, BackCouture has 'modern-retro' covered with its classic silhouettes, contemporary prints and feminine colour palette. So if you're a lover of A-line shapes, peter pan collars and embroidered detailing, then look no further!

In an effort to support the Bilbao textile industry, all of BackCouture's garments are locally and ethically produced in small fair trade workshops. So not only can you look good, but you can also feel good knowing that your clothing meets fair trade standards.

​The label also recently released their first female artist collaboration with Madrid-based illustrator, Marce Lopez. Argentinian fashion label, Vero Forest have just released their Spring/Summer 2019 collection and boy, it does not disappoint! Sticking with the labels' minimalist ethos, the collection features simple yet beautifully crafted trans-seasonal garments, made from natural fiber textiles such as linen, cotton and wool. 24-year-old New York native, Paris Starn, is the brainchild behind the super cute and swoon-worthy label, Paris 99. Drawing inspiration from the textiles of the traditional country club and domestic appeal, her debut collection features playfully feminine gingham dresses with daring cut-outs, ric rac trims and dainty pearl buttons, that pay homage to traditional Americana style and Paris' love for her great grandmother's aprons. Available in pink, yellow and blue, each dress has its own personality was named after the designer's friends, “successful young women working in creative fields” who have been her inspiration and collaborators.

Australian fashion and homewares label, Doops Designs, was conceived by Byron Bay-based Textile Designer, Jane Newham in 2015 after she set about making her own screen printed fabrics and joined the online marketplace, Etsy. With a degree in Textile Design from RMIT under her belt, Jane hand screen-prints her original designs using eco-friendly water based inks and responsibly sourced fabrics. Garments are then lovingly sewn by the Doops Designs team in their Byron Bay studio. Inspired by the likes of Marimekko, Jane's prints are bright, simple and often feature elements of Australian flora and fauna. Perfect for all shapes and sizes, her designs are relaxed loose fitting pieces that can be worn all year 'round. BAMBAM is a small #peopleswear brand based in Madrid, Spain. Inspired by past, present, and the Millennial Way Of Life, their debut collection 'Tómbola' combines art and technology in a playful and nostalgic way. References to the late 80's and early 90's culture can be seen throughout the collection, including the bold primary colour palette and the Nintendo inspired "Gamification" print and earrings. While the influence of 20th Century Artists such as Henri Matisse and Joan Miró, is evident in their funky "Facemotiv" print. Founded by Rose Halstead in 2012, Manchester-based label, Plum and Pigeon, combines past and present with its vintage-inspired style and modern-day fabrics.​ After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University in Textile Design for Fashion in 2009, Rose attended local dressmaking courses where she learnt the sewing techniques and pattern making skills that would go on to help her create Plum and Pigeon. Influenced by 1940's and 50's fashion, each garment is handmade and a timeless addition to any wardrobe. Lauren Winter is a namesake clothing label based in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2014, ​the labels goal is to create high quality, statement designs that reflect the individuality of the wearer and evoke an air of timelessness.
