New Zealand label twenty-seven names have just released their Winter 2012 collection, 'take cover' a range which celebrates a history of counterculture. The colour palette is lifted from The Balcony by Edouard Manet, the 19th century artist whose disdain for the conventional transformed the art world. The washed-out pastels of impressionism are used to colour iconic symbols of the protest era. These colours and images are used in hand-printed silk, vintage detailing, burnt-out velvet, and lace. We especially like the simplicity and mustard tone throughout the collection. Find out more via their website.
