Objects Without Meaning is a Los Angeles based line, founded in 2011 by Australian designer Alexandra Michelle and creative director Andrew Hogge. Featuring skewed silhouettes, neutral tones, statement prints and textured fabrics, the new collection explores notions of contrast, some literal, some abstract, yet all intimate. Photographed by Stella Berkofsky, the campaign romanticizes the late 1970s in black and white, when masculine met feminine - a strong menswear influence, casual and effortless, styled for the inner city commute. We're a little bit in love with the latest collection by Pasadena-based loungewear label, Atelier Delphine. Founded in 2011 by designer Yuka Izutsu, the label finds inspiration in both on-screen cinema sirens and the every-day bombshells that take it to bed. Described as "Southern California meets sixties European vacation style", the collection is executed in stunning muted colours, pretty Liberty prints and the highest quality fabrics, that are perfect for curling up, settling in, and celebrating leisure. Spring 14 is the fifth mainline collection from street-style inspired brand THE WHITEPEPPER. Featuring for the first time an exclusive in-house design print, this season also marks the welcome addition of a mini knitwear collection of playful weaves and muted tones, to be layered under new oversized outerwear separates. As usual, the collection also features classic wardrobe staples like simple smock dresses, a multi-functional leather backpack and classic oversized trench. This is our favourite WHITEPEPPER collection so far and we're absolutely in love with the pastel colour palette, as well as the ridiculously cute silhouettes seen throughout. Tara Starlet is a vintage inspired fashion line with responsible ethics and a timeless charm. Created by Tara Scott, the label was born out of a passion for the glory days of the 1940s and ‘50s, with her designs inspired by original Pin-up paintings and silver screen starlets like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. The circle skirts, cheeky playsuits and beautiful tea length dresses will take you back in time to the days long-gone where clothes were cherished until the elbows were worn and the buttons were lost.
