With a voice that sounds like the love child of Julia Stone and Lisa Mitchell, Brisbane's Meredith Barker is one mighty talented twenty-three year old. With her debut EP on the way, Meredith has given us a taste of things to come with the release of her first single and video 'Darkness'. Saturated in layers of dreamy vocal harmonies and folky guitar sounds, 'Darkness' is a feminine and enchanting tune worth listening to over and over. The video was directed by Brisbane's Danny McShane who has perfectly captured the essence of the music, with moving imagery and stunning scenery coming together for an ideal visual for the song.
