AYLA
Nineteen year-old singer/songwriter AYLA made her arrival on the Australian music scene in early 2014, with the release of her debut single, ‘Wish I Was’. The track was quickly picked up by Triple J, receiving plenty of airtime and becoming their 15th most played track for the year, along with the most played song on the national youth broadcaster by a solo female. The last 12 months have seen this young songstress signed to Italian music label, Ego Music (The Jezabels, Emma Louise) as well as touring the country with the likes of Husky, Bonjah and The John Steel Singers.

With the haunting opening line “Never seen so many people, never felt so all alone.” her latest single, ‘Waiting’ conveys the notion of feeling alone, even when surrounded. Vivid guitars, tight-knit drums, delicate synths and AYLA's powerful vocals make for an instantly likeable and compelling track, that will definitely give you all the feels. The good news is that AYLA has been busy working on new material and will release her debut EP in the coming months. 'Waiting' is available now on iTunes and can also be streamed online now via Soundcloud. For more info on AYLA visit her website and Facebook.
