Nanushka is a Budapest based label founded by head designer, Sandra Sandor. After graduating from the London College of Fashion, Sandra left the UK and returned to her hometown of Budapest, Hungary to establish her own label. Sandra combines playful cuts and lush fabrics with elegance and comfort to create collections that exude a harmony which contrasts the overwhelming noise of the big-city experience. What we love about her Autumn/Winter collection is the eclectic mix of fabrics, as well as the clean and understated designs featuring bright geometric patterns and illustrations. To find out more or shop the collection head to the Nanushka website.
Meshit is an Austrian fashion label created by designers Ida Steixner and Lena Krampf. Bridging the gap between street style and contemporary fashion, their designs combine clean shapes and special detailing
by playfully meshing together distinct elements
into one unique design. Their Autumn/Winter 2014 collection fuses androgynous shapes with delicate fabrics and patterns, allowing the wearer to create their own individual style. We love the contrasting fabrics, neutral colour palette and of course the adorable sheep print knit dress! You can check out the labels other collections here or browse their online store here.
The latest Autumn/Winter collection by Italian label Lazzari is mouth-wateringly good! Combining quirky detailing and beautifully tailored silhouettes, designer Alice Lunardi has created a breakfast themed collection that is both contemporary and classic. With a distinct 60s influence, the collection features a retro-inspired colour palette and a feminine print by Ashley Goldberg. Obviously we're absolutely crazy about the entire collection, but we are especially fond of the playful croissant collar blouse and cheeky bread pocket skirt! Talk about cute! The collection is now available in the Lazzari online store and you can also check out the amazing lookbook here!
Working with Brooklyn artist, Kate Kosek, the latest collection from Gorman is a visual feast of overlapping colour, lines and geometric prints. The 18 piece collection is choc-full of great gorman classics, including the jumpsuit, pencil skirt, cute socks of course and one piece swimmers! Intricate floral lace styles are treated to highlights of sharp neon pink and their star-power prints and jacquards will have you wishing you could be transported back to the 80's! The collection is now available in all Gorman stores and of course in their online store.
Vivetta Ponti has outdone herself once again her latest collection, 'Rag Doll'. The eclectic collection has a real retro feel to it with it's classic 1960's shapes and colour palette, but still maintains the brand's contemporary look with the addition of surreal decorations and feminine embroideries. We absolutely love the contrasting patterns and colours seen throughout the entire collection and of course the signature Vivetta hands collars! Check out the full collection online here.
Objects Without Meaning is a Los Angeles based line, founded in 2011 by Australian designer Alexandra Michelle and creative director Andrew Hogge. Featuring skewed silhouettes, neutral tones, statement prints and textured fabrics, the new collection explores notions of contrast, some literal, some abstract, yet all intimate. Photographed by Stella Berkofsky, the campaign romanticizes the late 1970s in black and white, when masculine met feminine - a strong menswear influence, casual and effortless, styled for the inner city commute. We're a little bit in love with the latest collection by Pasadena-based loungewear label, Atelier Delphine. Founded in 2011 by designer Yuka Izutsu, the label finds inspiration in both on-screen cinema sirens and the every-day bombshells that take it to bed. Described as "Southern California meets sixties European vacation style", the collection is executed in stunning muted colours, pretty Liberty prints and the highest quality fabrics, that are perfect for curling up, settling in, and celebrating leisure.
