Tristan Pigott is a London based painter whose work explores human characteristics and everyday life. Tristan's ambiguous work draws the viewer in, allowing them to spend time working out the different connotations of the surreal narratives he has created. Tristan's paintings also have an interesting relation to photography, whilst keeping a distance from photographic realism. Keeping a division between the two enables an important detachment from realism, creating space and leaving the viewer a chance to connect with the work.
