UK based artist & illustrator, Jamie Mills caught our attention many moons ago with his beautiful geometric and nature inspired works. Jamie's repeated use of shapes, mountains and animals in his work illustrate the significant role that nature plays in his creative practice. Fascinated by structure and the way things are constructed in nature, Jamie strives to create works that tell stories and explain certain ideas that are close to his heart. We're a little in love with his mark making and colour palette - the two compliment each other so well.

Julia Randall is a Connecticut-based artist creating hyperrealistic imagery that subtly challenges assumptions about corporeality, desire, and the natural world. From sparkly spit bubbles and shiny tongues to imaginary fetish objects and birds with human mouths instead of heads, Julia's illustrations are both beautiful and repulsive. While they are a little unnerving at first glance, they are also beautifully constructed and intricately detailed.

We absolutely love her work and suggest you check out more here and here. Lizzy Stewart is a London-based illustrator inspired by music and books she wishes she'd written herself. Lizzy's works are laced with the desire to share stories and a strong sense of folk culture. When asked about what message she wishes to convey through her work Lizzy said, "I don’t know if I have a message. Maybe that’s the point of what I do. I want it to be kind of ambiguous. Each image is sort of a capture of a single (fictional) moment and whatever came before or comes after is a mystery so you have to wonder how that situation came to be. Gosh, no that sounds silly. It’s about bears. Mainly it’s about bears." Bears ftw.

Her sensuous watercolours draw on images from popular culture, juxtaposing them to invoke improbable fantasies and create narratives that oscillate and teeter between grand themes of human existence and the absurdity of our inconsequence. Luisa graduated from the Queensland College of Art in 2002 and is currently represented by Helen Gory Galerie.
