Miranda Skoczek is a Melbourne based artist creating work that focuses on pure process, blurring the lines between representation, abstraction, design and the painterly. Miranda graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2004 and has since exhibited her painting’s internationally, as well as throughout Australia in numerous solo and group exhibitions.

Esther Stewart is a emerging artist from Melbourne creating bold geometric works that explore colour and form. Esther has a Master of Cultural and Arts Management from the University of Melbourne and has exhibited her beautiful paintings both here in Australia and overseas. More recently, Esther collaborated with Valentino as part of the label’s Fall 2015 menswear presentation.

Rose Miller aka Wolfgang & Rose is a Sydney-based artist, creating stylised oil and watercolour paintings of all things glamorous, fashionable and pretty. Her highly stylised portraits are playful and bright, taking inspiration from iconic design and fashion moments throughout history. Rose's paintings have been collected, published and exhibited within Australia and overseas, and she is also a respected art educator.

Emily Rickard is an Ohio born artist, sequin enthusiast and maker of colorful things. With a degree in fine art and art history from the Columbus College of Art and Design, she now resides in Los Angeles where she works as a fine artist and designer. Emily has collaborated with the likes of BHLDN and had her work featured in publications such as Rue Magazine, Adore Magazine and Elle Decor.

Britt Bass is an abstract artist living and working in Roswell, GA. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia, Britt has since opened up her own store where she sells original paintings, prints and other goodies! She also hosts quarterly art workshops where britt walks you through her favourite materials, how to use them, as well as the importance of inspiration and defining your process.

There's nothing worse than finding yourself in a creative rut, especially when there's a deadline looming. Almost all artists, writers and designers experience creative blocks, so the chances are you've already experienced it or will unfortunately experience it in the future. However there is light at the end of the tunnel - Here's a list of 10 ways to help you get your creative juices flowin' again and improve your productivity!

1. Take a break. Turn off your phone and computer. Go outside. This could be spending an hour or two exercising, catching up with friends, or even a day where you just do anything but work. Get some fresh air and clear your head.
   
   
2. Read a book. Not only do books transport you to another place, they can also help you gain new perspectives which can be extremely useful for generating new ideas. A 2009 study found that reading for just six minutes can reduce stress levels up to 68%. So why not kill two birds with one stone and read books about conquering your pesky creative block? I suggest checking out Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon, Creative Block by Danielle Krysa and The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.
   
   
3. Surround yourself with creative people. The one thing I miss the most about university is being constantly surrounded by creative minds. Whether it be starting a conversation, joining an art class or getting together with a group of friends, the creative energy of others creates a supportive environment for ideas to flow.
   
   
4. Keep a journal with you at all times. Creativity and inspiration can strike at any time, and unfortunately it's usually at the most inconvenient moments like when you're in the shower or in the car on your way to work or school. Whether it's in a physical note pad or an app on your phone, recording your thoughts and inspirations is a great way to keep track of your creative ideas.
   
   
5. Meditate. Regular meditation helps you get in tune with your inner self and allows creativity to flow freely. 
   
   
6. Declutter. If clearing your mind doesn't help, try clearing your work space. Tidying up and removing unwanted clutter allows you to focus on the work you need to get done.
   
   
7. Experiment. Push the boundaries. The best work is often created by breaking the rules. American cartoonist, Scott Adams once said, “Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep". It doesn't matter if the end result isn't exactly what you envisioned - it's all about the process.
   
   
8. Do something creative every single day. Try doing something creative every day, even if it's only for 5 minutes. Paint, draw, sew, take a class, or just go outside and photograph your surroundings. Creative challenges like the 365 project and 100 creative things to do, are great ways to push yourself and refine your skills.
   
   
9. Learn something new. Look beyond your creative field - read the dictionary, watch a documentary or just simply do something that has absolutely nothing to do with your craft. Immersing yourself in particular arts or cultures that you wouldn't normally be interested in can lead to new and interesting ideas.

Born and raised in Australia, Kelly Love is a super talented fashion designer currently living and working in London. Before launching her self-titled label in 2012, she studied fashion design at Raffles Institute of Design, worked at ASOS and the prestigious couture label, Baccini & Hill. Her pieces are regularly featured in magazines like Grazia, Marie Claire, French & UK Elle and InStyle.

Rachel Burke is a pint sized designer, blogger and crafter from Brisbane, Australia. Rachel is responsible for whimsical labels such as yellowcake and The Hiding Tree, and when she isn't sewing up a storm at home she works as a womenswear designers at Universal Store.  Over the years Rachel has gained national attention through her various 'i make. you wear it.' projects which have seen her raise over $13,000 collectively, for a range of different Australian charities.

Samantha Pleet is a Brooklyn based designer who creates swoon-worthy clothes perfect for tea parties and frolicking in the sun. Samantha made her debut into the fashion industry in 2006 with the launch of her namesake label and is now known for her signature twisted tailoring and ethereal prints. In her spare time she can be found gardening, painting, traveling and hunting for treasure with pals like Hanna Kristina.

Petrova Hammond is the colourful designer behind Melbourne label and boutique Lady Petrova. The daughter of a fashion designer and head seamstress, it’s no wonder Petrova found herself in the fashion world. After launching her label in 2007, she was also a finalist on Australia’s first Project Runway and made even more waves in the fashion industry with big names such as Lana Del Rey wearing her designs.

Priscilla Barroso is the founder and designer behind Texas based label, Crowned Bird - a unique brand designed for stylish gals living in their own eccentric world. Since launching her label in 2012, she has released numerous collections and was also a contestant on NBC’s Fashion Star Season 2. Priscilla treads a lifelong ambition to unravel traditional garment making through colorful and inspired expression.

Marie Zucker is a German fashion photographer currently living in London. Jonathan Schoonover is a twenty three year-old photographer based in New York, currently studying a Masters of Fine Art in Photography. Focusing mostly on photo-journalistic portraits, he creates bright and colourful imagery with a strong graphic feel to it. Jonathan was involved in the VSCO Artist Initiative and has collaborated with the likes of Kinfolk Magazine.

Gabriel Flores is a Brooklyn-based woodcrafter and freelance portrait/lifestyle photographer. Paloma Parrot is a young photographer and blogger from Ruhr, Germany "taking pictures of whatever". Her playful and minimalistic imagery often consists of obscured faces or figures turned away from the viewer, as well as everyday objects that are beautifully simple yet bold at the same time.

Annette Pehrsson is a twenty-three year old photographer from Sweden who focuses mainly on analogue photography. Using film and polaroid, she creates quiet and dreamy self-portraits within beautiful locations. Annette has had a couple of photos published in magazines like ELLE Girl and Nylon, and when she's not taking photos, she works as a webmaster for an online store.

Creating her own style of typography using Indian ink and brush, Jasmine's lovely hand lettering has been featured in numerous magazines and has also been used by national and international fashion brands in look books and advertising campaigns.

Zachary Smith is a hand lettering artist and designer, based in Savannah, GA.  Working with objects that you'd usually find in a workshop;  like saw blades and handsaws, he creates unique and beautiful typographic art.

Laura Blythman is a freelance designer and illustrator, renowned for her vibrant and hand-drawn style.
