Inspired by girl scouts and Wes Anderson's 'Moonrise Kingdom', Orla Kiely's SS14 collection offers a contrast of texture, embellishment and 70’s inspired silhouettes fused with a modern twist. We were especially drawn to the playful dresses and feminine blouses adorned with animal motif embroidery and repeating patterns of giraffes, lions and zebras. The brightly coloured animal-shaped mini bags were also a favourite from the collection! The collection will be available in store and online soon.
Inspired by the Mexican festival Dia de Muertos, Sretsis' latest collection “The New Arrivals” represents the beautification of death, acceptance of life cycle and tranquil remembrance. The collection's high craftsmanship and intricate textiles pay homage to the festival’s decorated graves and altars as well as profound acknowledgement of truth. The New Arrivals combines feminine dream-like silhouettes, whimsical keepsake appliques and quirky patterns to give the traditional Mexican dress a more modern edge. Spring 14 is the fifth mainline collection from street-style inspired brand THE WHITEPEPPER. Featuring for the first time an exclusive in-house design print, this season also marks the welcome addition of a mini knitwear collection of playful weaves and muted tones, to be layered under new oversized outerwear separates. As usual, the collection also features classic wardrobe staples like simple smock dresses, a multi-functional leather backpack and classic oversized trench. This is our favourite WHITEPEPPER collection so far and we're absolutely in love with the pastel colour palette, as well as the ridiculously cute silhouettes seen throughout.
