Just in case you didn't already know... The Voltaire Twins are a New Wave band from Perth, WA, consisting of siblings Jaymes and Tegan. The band was unearthed by Triple J in 2008, when they won the Triple J Unearthed Play At Parklife competition. Since then these extremely cool siblings have gone on to support high profile acts like Ladytron, Maximo Park, Art vs Science, Midnight Juggernauts and Lost Valentinos. They've also played festival slots at Parklife Festival, St Jerome's Laneway Festival, One Movement For Music, Summadayze, Good Vibrations Festival and Groovin' the Moo. Earlier this year they embarked on a national tour, supporting Tim & Jean and just this month they performed in NYC alongside The Jezabels and Philadelphia Grand Jury. I bet their parents are proud pandas. I suggest you get your mits on their newest EP - Romulus. We especially love Animalia! Check out the sick ass video here.
