We're that excited for the new Bloc Party album that we're probably going to wee ourselves. Yeaaaaah. So far they've released the track list (massive cocktease tbh) and this trailer video for some insight into the long awaited album. A few weeks ago the band performed some of their new material during a gig in Glasgow, UK, playing 3×3, which will feature on Four - from what we heard it sounds gooooood. Bloc Party will release their new album ‘Four’ on the 20th of August and you can pre-order it now via their website or Amazon.com. 1 Comment It's been four years since we've heard or seen any new material from one of our favourite British indie rock bands, Bloc Party. However, today the band confirmed rumours that they will indeed be releasing a new album by the end of the year. Not only are they recording again but they have signed to the impressive indie label, Frenchkiss Records. Here's what frontman, Kele Okereke had to say: “It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce to the universe that Bloc Party have now signed to Frenchkiss Records. This signing has made Bloc Party very happy because not only do we know and love the people at this label but we know and love this label's output. Frenchkiss has released some mighty fine music over the years, music that has gone on to influence this very band. So here's to some more mighty fine music...” Now the question remains - Will they play Splendour in the Grass 2012? We've got our fingers crossed! |
