Sporting an amazing ruby-red rose crown, model Ashleigh Dwyer looks so delightful in (some of our favourite) Hiding Tree pieces! We are in love with the pastel 'rumours dress' as well as the gorgeous scalloped-collar blouse. Puuuuuuuuuur-tty. Well looky-here, it's another lovely lookbook by Summerland! Photographed by Bria Phillips and styled by Megan Hart, the gorgeous Fiona Woodman wears a mixture of new and vintage pieces from the Summerland collection. All of the pieces featured are available now in the Summerland shop! Yiddish Chutzpah is a Spanish fashion brand created by independent designer, Gema Alonso. Gema's latest and loveliest collection 'The forest of Hansel & Gretel' draws on themes and motifs from the classic fairytale, Hansel and Gretel. The feminine and sweet collection is a mixture of beautifully designed prints, bright colours and flattering shapes. Our favourites from the collection would have to be 'Bambi' the deer print dress and 'Gretel' the gorgeous blue scalloped hem dress. So pretty! You can also check out Gemas previous collections here. The Wayward Daughter Handmade AW12 collection brings together dress shapes from the Edwardian school room and 1960s London. The pieces are nostalgic and feminine, offset with masculine detail and a monochrome pallet, featuring signature Wayward Daughter collars and removable bows. Designer Cait Harrington drew inspiration from fictional characters of the Edwardian era, immortalised in films of the 1960s such as The Railway Children's Waterbury siblings and The Banks twins from Mary Poppins. Each piece is handmade with the greatest care and attention to detail, meaning that elements can be tailored to each customers taste and measurements. Head over to the online shop to get yourself one of these gorgeous pieces! We've been patiently waiting for the lovely Kelly Love to release a new collection and now she finally has. The Spring/Summer 2013 collection, The Idyllic Hour, is full of beautiful feminine shapes, vibrant prints and super cute neck-lines. We really love the combination of bright and nude shades used through out the collection - there's nothing like a pop of fuschia to brighten up your wardrobe! Here's what Kelly had to say about the collection: "The Idyllic Hour explores the love that we have for each other, the cities that we live in and how everything shapes us to be the people that we are. The Idyllic Hour is inspired by all that is around us and all that we are." Madrid's Inés Aguilar and Iván Martínez are the two designers behind kooky fashion label, la casita de wendy. A label well known for it's strong use of colours, original shapes, star shaped and dotted motifs based on Iberian fairy tales. Their latest collection, montañas, is full of bright hues, cute wooly dresses and an abundance of wintery patterns that are bound to make you stand out from the crowd. Sigh, if only it was still winter here in Australia... Accessories label, The Handmade Things was created by Marian Reyes to offer unique and singular works to an audience that is looking for something different, something with its own identity and a creativity. All designs are made from fabrics created with loom, as well as other high quality natural fibers. With a strong passion for the craft of weaving, Marian creates designs each day that are one of a kind and a luxury for the senses. We're really digging the 'star dust' sequin dress, 'bear bearington' swimsuits as well as the amazing 'strong man' cotton/linen pants! If you're not familiar with see&ell, it's a lovely Australian label run by Libby Spring & Celia Fraser. The two create innovative and unique garments, in particular women’s wear and swimwear, as well as made-to-measure and one off pieces made from vintage and recycled fabrics for women looking for fresh, eclectic clothing. Betina Lou designer, Marie-Eve Emond, has put together a simple, timeless and feminine collection that's perfect for all occasions. Inspired by past and present style icons, the line reflects British influences and concentrates on a neutral, easy to wear, colour palette. We're a little jealous of all of you ladies in the Northern Hemisphere, getting to wear these during the cold months! |
