We're super excited to show you the new lookbook from Brisbane based designer EMILY McGUIRE, full of flared sleeves, shift dresses and pretty pleats.

Much like Emily's previous designs, her Spring/Summer 2013 'Re-creation: A Dress' collection explores and deconstructs the notions of femininity. However unlike her previous A/W12 collection, this one is lighter, whiter and a little more personal. Inspired by her personal life and daily routines, Emily has created a collection that explores the process of re-creating something from the same point of reference - in this case, she has recreated a basic A-line dress pattern block. Emily notes, "At once, I embraced "recreation" as finding pleasure in the process of making."
