We've been drooling, sighing and desperately hoping that Vanishing Elephant would introduce women's pieces into their label and well, now they have. Much like the mens collection - slim cut trousers, parkas and chinos, shirting in chambray and plaid, killer desert boots and brogues are seen throughout but mixed with feminine silk shirts and wrap dresses, sleeveless shirts rendered in paisley, pleated plaid draw-string short shorts and well-cut blazers that are the crème de la crème! The guys behind the label, said that their typical Vanishing Elephant girl is "someone quite aware of their own sense of dress but still ambitious enough to try colours and patterns that may not be a staple of their current wardrobe. We approached the collection much the same we have with the men's, that being that the core values of the brand must be classic shapes, with a new take. Well designed, made and delivered, all at a good price point." Vanishing Elephant Spring 2012 Womenswear will drop mid-July in Vanishing Elephant's Melbourne store, online and in a variety of other stockists.

Since their debut collection in 2009, we've been crushing on Vanishing Elephant like all hell. Why? Simple. We're all for guys dressing well and VE has that down pat. Not only are their pieces unique and fun, the quality is beautiful. They describe each collection as "a gentlemanly style with an undeniable modern twist" and their latest A/W collection is no exception. These crazyass prints, playful colours and stylish cuts have us wishing we were male. However, word on the street is that they will be introducing a brand spanking new collection for us ladies mid year. All we have to say is, fuck yeah!
