Hailing from Queensland, designer Jessica Shipard has been creating since a very young age. Though her studies geared her up for a career in furniture and industrial design, her unshakeable love of fashion design lead her to design and prototype fashion accessories such as sunglasses, scarves and shoes. From there Colony the label was born. Jess describes the typical colony girl as being a jet-setting gypsy who loves quiet luxury and unique patterns, in wildly saturated colours. She is natural, disheveled, creative and playful. We adore the whole concept and especially love her range of Geodes Sunglasses. These modernized cat framed glasses are the perfect accessory for any outfit and come in a variety of quirky colours.
