Louise Chen is an illustrator and maker living in Los Angeles. Her artwork is inspired by botanical and scientific drawings, vintage floral patterns, antiques, the universe, new and old technologies, animals, and of course, the people and artists that move around her. She is constantly exploring the self and the smallness of our lives in context with the big picture. Louise has also been known to draw about tough subject matters relating to environmental degradation and human maladies, always coupled with floral pattern explosions.
